Two years of bilingual training, French and English, to become a primary school teacher — a program recognized by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
The Bilingual Private Secular ENIEG of the East is a teacher training institute located opposite the Lycée Classique of Abong Mbang, Cameroon. The school offers bilingual training in French and English, designed to prepare qualified educators for Cameroonian public and private institutions.
The program spans two academic years, organized into four semesters, and leads to a recognized diploma that opens the way to a career as a primary school teacher.
Teaching skills and subject knowledge are built in parallel, across the program's four semesters.
Teaching skills are at the heart of the program. Learners develop the ability to design suitable activities, master classroom management, communicate effectively, and handle interpersonal relationships.
Students learn the school curricula of the various subjects, as well as the most recent teaching methods.
First observation placements with practicing teachers.
Gradual hands-on responsibility for a class, under a trainer's supervision.
End-of-program placement, assessed for the awarding of the diploma.
